About our pizza
Our Dough – Our pizza crust dough is made fresh daily, in-house, using the finest flour, yeast, water, Hairy Cow Pale Ale, and then aged for at least 24 hours. Like craft beer and fine wine, time is needed to allow the yeast and beer to combine with the grains, resulting in our unique dough texture and flavor. Ingredients are always fresh, without any artificial flavors, colors, or fillers. Our proofing process allows a symphony of delicate interactions between the ingredients that form the basis of a great tasting crust.
Hand Crafted – Our crust is made fresh, then hand rolled and tossed, on location, every day.
Our Sauce – Made here daily using only the highest-quality “San Marzano” style whole tomatoes.
Our Cheeses – Italy’s favorite brand of whole milk Mozzarella – 100% pure cheese.
Our Toppings – Our chicken, sausage, and vegetables are sliced, roasted, and grilled fresh, in-house, every day. It’s a lot of work, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Gluten Warning – While our gluten-friendly crust excludes gluten, our handling and baking process, which includes baking directly on our stone hearth oven, ensures that the end product will most likely contain at least trace amounts of gluten. Please take this into account as you order.
At Hairy Cow Brewing Company, we strive to serve the highest quality brick-oven Napolitano style pizza, made fresh to order in less than 10 minutes, in our 700 degree wood burning pizza oven. This is a first in the Byron area.
