Welcome to the Hairy Cow Brewing Company website. Our taproom is currently closed due to the pandemic, but we plan to open to curbside beer sales soon.

We opened our doors December 18, 2018 to overwhelming support from the Byron community, foodies, and craft beer aficionados. The past sixteen months has been quite the learning experience for all of us at HCB. Your input has been greatly appreciated and we have attempted to put many of your suggestions and comments to use. We want Hairy Cow to be your ‘place’ to gather, relax, and celebrate. You have given us several ideas for events, menu items, beers, and facility accommodations. 

Prior to the closure March 16, we were in the process of covering our back deck and installing the boat dock. We hope to complete both projects yet this spring.

We will also have new beers upon reopening. Jon has been working on several recipes including a crisp, refreshing Helles and a slightly higher octane Maibock. Those, along with our core offerings, will be available for carryout soon. Please watch our social media pages for details.
